On the road to recovery.

Ah, the UltraSling, which in 95 degree heat should more aptly be called "the rottisserie."
I have been spending most of the days indoors to escape the heat, feeling better but still a lot of soreness in the shoulder. My upper arm is a nice technicolor shade of yellow and purple- very attractive. First post-op doctor visit is on Friday morning.
Spent the holiday around the house, Monday evening Loret took me out for sushi and a walk around the mall.
Thanks to everyone who has read my notes and left nice, and occassionally interesting comments.
Bu the big question on everyone's minds- what will LeBron do? Who cares !
Go Netherlands!

  1. Hi Mark,

You should tie an orange ribbon around the rotisserie before Sunday. Now that would be a sight.
I'm happy you could go out for a walk. Your arm looks a bit like a sushi right now. Good thing you did not eat yourself but you'd better watch out if someone approaches you with a giant pair of chopsticks.

    Anyway enjoy your sling-cation

  2. This will be a great final match no matter who wins. The heat has broken now, it is all the way down to only 85 degrees F, and I hope that helps with your comfort level. As I am writing this, you are in Cleveland for the celebration of Judy's life. I am thinking of you and so glad you are surrounded by great people there.
